The glory of the American bison is presented with respect and admiration in this innovative, yet tasteful portrayal by taxidermist Joeseph Lesh of Spring, Texas. This piece won the WASCO Award for the most artistic entry at the 1996 Texas Taxidermy Association convention. It later went on to earn Joseph Lesh the 1996 North American Champion title for game head taxidermy at the 1996 National Taxidermists Association in Columbia, Missouri.
